RIGHT TO PROTEIN is India’s first advocacy program calling for the right to adequate protein as the core of nutrition for India.

  • Right To Protein is India’s first communications and consumer advocacy initiative supported by several like-minded Indians, Individuals, Academicians, Professionals, and Institutions and has also garnered support globally. The ecosystem also aims to improve quality and consistency of different types protein consumed in India and thereby lead to greater protein consumption by livestock, poultry and pisciculture/aquaculture (fish & shrimp farming).

  • Our mission is to educate the people of India on the importance of proteins in their daily health, fitness, and wellbeing. The core objective is to therefore foster behavioral change among individuals and communities at all levels, by championing the cause of protein sufficiency and help India be more protein aware for better nutrition and improved public health. We aim to do this by disseminating information, generating awareness and encourage implementation of the Right To Protein and its associated core values.
